PAMPERED Long Island socialite ________was just sentenced to two years' probation and 100 hours of community service for mowing down a Florida road worker and zooming off so she wouldn't miss her bridge game - but she certainly doesn't seem remorseful. Not only has 92-year-old; one of the _____________most influential board members - yet to write a court-mandated letter of apology to her victim, but she could risk jail after reportedly threatening to break parole. "She tells her probation officer she's going on her annual cruise and the officer said, 'Ma'am, you've got to understand - if you go on a cruise, you're going to be arrested.' She said, 'I've got a passport, I'll go where I want!' "Said the lawyer who represents ex-Marine in a damage suit he's launched against her."This woman doesn't give a damn. Her life revolves around herself." Last Jan, she, who lives in posh East Hampton, L.I., smacked the ex-Marine twice with her silver Bentley while he was working as a flag man for a road crew in Palm Beach, Fla., where she was vacationing in a $100,000 winter rental. She hit him once while she tried weaving around the site, and again when he tried to stop her. Witnesses say she snapped at him, "Get out of my way! I'm late for my bridge game!" The nameless ex-Marine, who suffered back and knee injuries and hasn't been able to work since, tracked her to her Country Club, where she was playing in a duplicate-bridge tournament, There, she fumed at him, "You were rude, you wouldn't get out of the way. I'm gonna get you fired." Amazingly, cops allowed her to finish her game, in which she placed fourth, before quizzing her This lady pleaded "no contest" to leaving the scene of an accident that resulted in injuries. Her own lawyer wouldn't comment or say if she would go on her cruise. While she does have two years to write her apology, the ex-Marine's attorney fumed, "This lady remains unrepentant and completely remorseless . . . She thought this was just another yard boy."
