The School of Flaunt

Back when "Flying Was Fun" Alexandra Smythe and Cate Clarke were Flight Attendants with a Major International Carrier. Prior to Private Jets coming into vogue, Alexandra and Cate traveled in the First Class World, meeting and greeting the top celebrities, politicians who would become Presidents, nouveau riche, and yes the occasional Headline Grabbing Criminal in Handcuffs!

The Proper Way to Shop

Dear Students of the School of Flaunt. It has come to our attention that many of you are misbehaving at the after holiday shopping extravaganzas being held across the country. People are pushing and shoving to get the best "deal" on everything from cashmere to candy. There is bruising being done students! And this is not the SOF way to behave.

So we have compiled a few Rules of the Shopping Road:

1. Never shop on an empty stomach.

2. Keep your wallet or purse closed and safe from Buzzman (pick-pocket) thieves.

3. Do not buzz (pick) another's pocket or handbag.

4. Remember that the store assistants (salespeople) are just that, PEOPLE.

5. Do not abuse the above said PEOPLE.

6. If you must "try-on" clothing, please wait your turn calmly.

7. Don't you have enough clothing?

8. If negotiating a lower price on automobiles or appliances, remember that "walking away" usually does the trick nicely.

9. No queue jumping or lining cutting as in the US.

10. Bragging about great deals can get old. Watch for ever indicative eye-rolling.

Happy Shopping!
