The School of Flaunt

Back when "Flying Was Fun" Alexandra Smythe and Cate Clarke were Flight Attendants with a Major International Carrier. Prior to Private Jets coming into vogue, Alexandra and Cate traveled in the First Class World, meeting and greeting the top celebrities, politicians who would become Presidents, nouveau riche, and yes the occasional Headline Grabbing Criminal in Handcuffs!

What the two ladies viewed and experienced became fodder for the School of Flaunt, so much money, such bad taste and oh those terrible manners. Something had to be done! Hence, The School of Flaunt Handbook was born. Read More

Lesson Twelve

Sporting Events....See and Be Seen

Let's get right to the point here students. You've worked long and hard to get to the top, or you have won Mega Millions. Now that you are there, you can either be seen or participate in the sport of your choice. Being seen obviously is the easiest way to go dear students. You supply the capitol and others the know how or lessons. What could be easier?

In some of our other lessons we went into details about hobbies that could lead to the spot lights of TV cameras and print. We decided that more elaboration was needed on how to handle these new situations because you are now a mini celebrity in your own right.

Please remember if you are attending an event, only the very best seats will do students. Sky Box whenever available! This goes both for sporting and top entertainment. Nothing like the Stones from your private sky box or taking the children to see their favorite rock star too! Much safer than having to deal with all of those crazy fans below you. But let's not talk about the masses here. We want to discuss either you being seen at a sporting event or actually participating. Both of which can be great fun!

Now, half the enjoyment in going to an event is being seen and seeing who else is there. We have recommended the Sky Box, you might have to pay a large price for this luxury, but it will be well worth it. People will notice when you are entering your sky box and as a result many will ask for your autograph because they will assume you must be someone to be sitting in such a regal space! Be pleasant about it and humor them, then explain you just never make signing autographs a habit!

What Sky Box Events have you enjoyed and why? If you have never been invited to a Sky Box, what famous celebs have you seen in a Sky Box or Sporting Event? OK, missed seeing them in a Sky Box, so tell us what famous celebs you have seen or rubbed shoulders with at a major event. Tell all, we want to know! Were they looking fabulous or like non SOF material?

Off to the Ball Game,

Smythe and Cadbury-Clarke
