Back when "Flying Was Fun" Alexandra Smythe and Cate Clarke were Flight Attendants with a Major International Carrier. Prior to Private Jets coming into vogue, Alexandra and Cate traveled in the First Class World, meeting and greeting the top celebrities, politicians who would become Presidents, nouveau riche, and yes the occasional Headline Grabbing Criminal in Handcuffs!

What the two ladies viewed and experienced became fodder for the School of Flaunt, so much money, such bad taste and oh those terrible manners. Something had to be done! Hence, The School of Flaunt Handbook was born. Read More

A Hostess Gift that Keeps on Giving! A friend of mine arrived with her husband for dinner many years ago. She had a wonderful, large, “hour glass” shaped vase in her hands, filled with a beautiful assortment of flowers. As she handed it to me she said, “A friend of mine gave me flowers in this vase a long time ago, and when I went to her home I would return it with flowers in it, and then she would do the same later. She just recently moved and told me to keep the vase and start the tradition with someone else. I immediately thought of you.”
